For those of you that don't know- when children are abandoned in China- they place a "Finding Ad" in the newspaper. This is basically a legal formality that then allows the government to declare the child an orphan. Once declared an orphan-they then are eligible for adoption in China/internationally.
We were blessed this week to receive this copy of our daughters original Finding Ad!! Brian Stuy at http://www.research-china.org was able to get us this plus the entire paper for that day. She looks so tiny & precious!! She can't be more than a few months old in this picture.
It really makes me sad we missed out on those moments thanks to the slowness in getting these children placed. Sigh.....at least we will have a whole lifetime of firsts to share with her soon!!!!
